Footage of me trying to process

Okay, so, I have so many cool and fantastic things to talk about that I literally have to turn this into a two part blog post! First, to those who have waited and asked when my next post will be, I truly appreciate you! Thank you for keeping me honest and making sure that I keep my headspace clear with this blog. So, in a way, this goes out to you.

Second, if you remember from my previous post , my husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. With that, I want to say that marriage is so beautiful and fulfilling. When you think about it, it’s literally a human being selecting you and saying, “we are going to spend the rest of our lives together and if you’re cool with it, I am too” because consent is everything. How crazy is that?! Someone out there, who you didn’t even know very well, is willing to see you and support you through the good and bad times. My husband has been there through it all and he’s still sticking around. 🤯 I love him so much, even though we have our disagreements. We always come out on top.

Third, that’s not even what this post is about. This post is about our anniversary trip! So, when we got married, we decided to go to Disney World for almost two weeks. I know! What were we thinking & yes, we literally paid whatever number just popped into your head. The reason why we paid that is because, we skipped the big wedding and did something private, used the money & paid things off, purchased new items for our home, put some in savings & used the rest for our honeymoon. I recommend everyone save the money and go small, but once again, I’ve gone off topic.

Okay, so boom, my ✨husband✨ and I took no time trying to determine where we were going to go for our next trip. I knew for a fact that he didn’t want to go back to Disney because we went last year &&&& that trip was long enough to last us a lifetime (we will still go back and when we do, don’t judge us). So, we chose to go to Cocoa Beach and then…

We had an absolute amazing time and I highly recommend everyone go there at least once in your life. In this post, I am going to be discussing our beach trip with the next post being about Universal! I promise I won’t wait an entire month before I do an update. Lol

The beach trip:

The walk from our motel

So, we decided to do something out of the ordinary and stay at a motel. I’ve never stayed at a motel before BUT we were looking for somewhere close to the beach & near a lot of things. Since we were only staying one night, we didn’t want to stay somewhere fancy & this was the perfect spot! If you didn’t click the link, we decided to stay at the Sea Aire Motel Cocoa Beach &&& baby, I felt like I was an extra in Schitts Creek. The motel even had actual keys that you used to get in your room!!

However, we had the most amazing customer service from this sweet New Yorker & we were even close enough to catch the sunrise. I attempted to wear sunblock but it did absolutely nothing for me. I was better off just using baby oil because I got super dark on day freaking one, lol! This was my second time going to the beach and even though the waves completely kicked our ass (Co went under and it was HILARIOUS), we def should have saved it for after the theme park! Next year, I’ll know the correct order to do things and will plan accordingly.

I know I’m ending abruptly so please don’t hate me but I’m sleepy, lol! However, I will provide you with a few takeaways and some photos. ❤️

1. I recommend the Sea Aire motel at Cocoa Beach especially if you don’t plan on beaching it a long time.

2. Go to the beach after your busy week at theme parks. Your body will thank you.

3. Take Lysol & a portable door lock just to be on the safe side.

4. Sanitize everything & when you finish, sanitize again!

5. Enjoy yourself! Life is too short to get caught up taking pictures on your cellphone. Live in the moment and take mental pictures.

This is how you take a mental photo. You just blink.

Until next time, stay classy! 💋
